base of professional trade organizations web sites and use
professionals that have committed to ongoing education. After you have
located your contractors you can verify the contractor's License. Check
the contractors license to see if they have Workman's Compensation
Coverage and are bonded where required here.
Require a General Liability Policy: Without this type of Insurance the
building has no protection.
Workman's Compensation: This insurance protects workers NOT
Your Property. Most states mandate the employer carry Workmans Compenasation. Ask to see all insurance policies and check to see if they are current.
